Opportunities

The OSU Herbarium welcomes participation in our programs by members
of the greater community. The following opportunities are currently available:

Volunteer in the herbarium.

Our operation is large and requires many person-hours to accomplish our goals.
Volunteers aid in the preparation of specimens for the collections, databasing of
specimens, and assist with other curatorial duties within the collection. As a volunteer,
you will have the opportunity to make a real contribution, to interact with interesting
people and to learn more about the plant world. Please contact the curators or the director for
more information about volunteering.

Come to our public programs.

The OS Herbarium hosts monthly speakers in the Herbarium Lecture Series.

The herbarium participates along with the other departments in the Museum of
